The Band Boosters at Warren High School are among the top fundraisers in the District. In all actuality - we need to be. We don’t sell tickets to half- time nor do we get a share of the ticket sales at other competitions. However - we spend plenty of money getting to various performances. Your important role, as a member of the Band family.

Your important role, as a member of the Band Family, is to help in anyway you can to raise money for the band. Your contribution may be donating food items to be sold at the Craft Fair and other events. Your gift may be service - offering your time and expertise to the band to help in a food stand at the fair, building props, sewing flags or one of many other activities.

The general point is that you must involve yourself in the Band Boosters and the band to ensure our financial strength throughout the year. we should never have to rely on only a few families to get the work accomplished. The more families that are involved, the less they each have to do.

The Band relies on the donation of items and sacrifice of time and energy from its members in order to keep fees down. Only a small portion of the year’s budget is collected from fees. This assumes that all students pay all of their fees. The deficit must be made up through fundraising. Your part in this operation is important and valuable. More than anything, it is appreciated.

Do you have to?

It would be best to consider every fundraiser an

“All Hands on Deck” sort of

event.

We are our best when everyone helps out just a little bit.

Fundraising Expectations

The Legacy Series

We are extremely excited to have added the Warrior Legacy Series to our

fund-raising calendar. The Legacy Series is a three-stage event which

includes the Marching Competition (October), the Indoor Performing Arts

Competition (March), and the Jazz Legacy (April).

Barlow Fair Roundhouse

During the annual Barlow Fair. In addition to the

parade on Friday, the band is involved in selling food for the weekend and

a performance at the pavillion.

Please plan on working at least one shift.

Fall Craft Fair (First Saturday in November)

Our biggest fundraiser of the year, the Craft Fair requires a great deal of

time and energy from all of us. Set-up will take place the Friday night

before and on the day of the Craft Fair we operate two food stands, a raffle

store and work with the crafters to help them have a profitable day.

Spring Vendor/Craft Fair (First Saturday in April)

This event continues to grow and is now our second-largest event of the

year. Just like in the fall, set-up will take place on Friday and the event lasts

nearly all day on Saturday. Everyone must be involved!

Other Fundraisers

The Band Boosters won’t ask for our families to be involved in fundraising

beyond the needs of our students. However, instances may arise when

fundraising is designed for a specific purpose or endeavor. Families will be

asked to help so that participation fees are kept to a minimum for our

members. We ask that you take the initiative to become actively involved in

helping the Boosters to raise money in all fundraising activities.
