| Christopher
R. Foster, Director of Bands;
for the Warren Local School District, and adjunct professor of trumpet
at Marietta College. He also serves as the Treasurer and Multi-Cultural
Music Chairperson for the Ohio Music Education Association District
9. Mr. Foster is a graduate of Youngstown State with a Bachelor
of Music in Education. Prior to his work with Warren, Mr. Foster
was the Associate Director of Music for the Warren Junior Military
Band, a community youth organization in Youngstown, Ohio. He was
also the Director of Bands at Crestview Local Schools, and the field
show designer/Asst. Director of the Sharon Marching Band. His bands
have received superior ratings for their performances in MACBDA
and OMEA competition circuits. He was a guest conductor of the 2000
Columbiana All-Star Band, YSU Concert Band, River City Brass Ensemble,
and the Lancomb County, PA Honors Band. On May 10, 2000, he received
the honorary flag of the United States flown over the capitol building
in his honor for “Inspiring Excellence in the Performing Arts”.
Mr. Foster is a member of OMEA, MENC and NBA.
Amy
Foster, Color Guard Director//Webmaster; for
the Warren Local Marching Warriors. She is a graduate of
Youngstown
State with a degree in Computer Information
Systems. Amy is employed by Woodcraft Supply Corporation as the
Internet Marketing Specialist and Webmaster. Prior to her
work with
Warren Local, she was the Color Guard
Instructor for Crestwood High School
and
Warren
Harding.
Amy also works with the Junior Military Band's Color Guard over
the summers. Her Color Guards have received superior ratings for
their performances
in the OMEA competitions. She was also a member of the Youngstown
State Marching Prides Color Guard for 4 years.
