Concert Band —Meets the 2nd half of 5th period. Emphasis on developing technical ability, characteristic tonality, and knowledge of phrasing. This years literature is as follows:

Wind Ensemble — Meets the 1st half of 5th period. Emphasis on developing musical maturity appropriate to college and professional music literature. This years literature is as follows:

Jazz Ensembles — Membership by audition in November with standard instrumentation. Rehearses on Tuesday after school with many performances throughout the spring.

Percussion Ensemble —Meets during 4th period. Emphasis on developing musical maturity in all styles of percussion technique.

Small Ensembles — Membership based upon student interest; auditions for brass, woodwind, and percussion ensembles. Each ensemble will perform at Solo and Ensemble contest.

Pep Band — Membership based upon student interest. The pep band plays at all of the boys home basketball games, and all instrumentation is accepted.
