Color Guard is defined as the visual representation of music through the use of color, texture, and movement in flag, rifle, saber, props, and dance. Color Guard is a life changing experience. Through Color Guard you will learn many life lessons as well as responsibility and maturity. Color Guard also keeps you motivated. Most teenagers waste a majority of their time sitting at a computer or watching television. Color Guard gets you out of the house and keeps you busy. Because of how much time and effort you put into Color Guard, you get a tremendous sense of pride and achievement.
